Here is a “Classic” 2009 Clipper Cordova 48, beautifully presented in White Gelcoat, comprehensively optioned and very well maintained!

With a genuine 1,000 hours on her twin Cummins QSB425hp diesel engines, her average run time, has been around 70hrs per year.

This vessel is very well appointed with all of the standard Cordova 48 equipment, plus a further list of options and upgrades.

These include an ADC 12v Electric Davit and stainless Tender Cradle, a new 3.1M Highfield Hypalon RIB (new 2024) with Mercury 15 HP outboard (new 2016) including sunbrella dingy cover.

Also on the flybridge, in addition to the Cummins ETS Electronic Engine and Gear Controls and Vessel View engine monitoring, she has a Raymarine 12″ (E120) Ploter / Colour fish Finder / Radar, Auto Pilot, VHF Radio and AIS -650 Tx & Rx, rudder angle indicator and wind speed and direction instrument and air horns.

There are SidePower bow and stern thruster controls, forward spotlight controls, trim tab controls, auto anchor winch counter, binoculars and case. The helm chairs and table have covers to protect from the elements.

The flybridge also boasts a Waeco Bar fridge with freezer (new 2017), sink with hot/cold water and electric grill BBQ, stereo speakers and humidity /temperature instruments on huon pine back board.

There is an Ocean ISO 4 man life raft ( supplied by Marinesafe QLD) positioned in a frame on the port side (undercover).

Flybridge Hardtop has two pack coating to reduce staining of the Strata glass clears all-round (new 2019).

There are 3 x 250W solar panels for house battery charging when at anchor, a Radome, a Tracvision Satellite antenna, VHF, phone/internet antennas, wind speed instruments and LED anchor light.

The flybridge roof access ladder is located in Lazerette, with U-bolt tie downs on roof top.

She also has a removable sun awning with stainless steel poles over the aft end of flybridge and a Steelhead WD600 250kg Davit crane with remote pendant.

At the lower helm there are Cummins ETS electronic engine and gear controls, vessel view engine monitoring, analogue engine instrumentation, Raymarine navigation electronics including 12″ GPS chart plotter/fish finder/radar/ autopilot, VHF Radio, AIS -650 Tx & Rx. Garmin 78sc handheld GPS plotter (handheld or dash mount for emergency).

Side power bow and stern thruster controls, trim tab controls, remote generator start, hand crafted timber steering wheel, bilge pump switches and air horn.

Dockmate remote docking system installed 2020. Control module behind fly bridge console, starboard side.
Radio /CD with bluetooth pairing of separate device, speakers in saloon and fly bridge (separate volume control etc in fly bridge).

Main propulsion comes from twin Cummins 425HP main engines(1100 hrs), Onan 13.5 kWh generator (964hrs), Fresh water flushing system installed to all engines with water connection in cockpit.

New engine mounts and skeg bearings (2015)

2 x Diesel Fuel Tanks holding 2470 litres, twin Racor primary fuel filters and secondary fuel filters on engines. Primary fuel filter for generator all located on forward bulkhead. Secondary filter located on Onan.

Sea Fire Extinguishing System – Automatic and manual operation from helm.

Twin Cafframo fans on forward bulkhead in room.

There is CCTV camera connected to the Raymarine plotter to view engines remotely.

Ultrasonic anifouling transducers adjacent to engine seacocks.

4 x Cruise -Air air conditioning compressors, electric bilge pumps (4 total in bilge) with float switches and manual bilge pump.

Vessel hot water system with valved hose for engine room wash down.

Forward bulkhead various custom tools and grease gun.

There is a tool bag with various tools, also tool boxes containing various spares as well as a 150mm mutipurpose engineer’s vice with mounting board for cockpit.

Propeller rope cutters are fitted to both props (installed Oct 2021)

The vessel is fully airconditioned by 4 reverse cycle units, totalling 56,000btu.

The blue water cruising ability of Clipper’s semi-displacement hull form, is well documented and this fine example is no exception!
